Lunch in Amsterdam
After we arrived in Amsterdam and checked in at our B&B, we had lunch at a nearby restaurant on the corner. Later on we had dinner at the same place. We ate lunch outside and planned the rest of our day.
Me with my giant hambuger
Jackson had a tuna melt on a big bun. He said he had never had a tuna melt on a bun like that! The waiters and waitresses spoke English everywhere we went on this trip and were always friendly.
We had dinner in Amsterdam another day at a great Indonesian place. I have pictures of our meals there too. But one night we mistakenly ordered a pizza topped with tuna! Most of the time we had great meals though!
Wow! Those are big sandwiches! I have never seen a tuna melt on a bun, either. Were you able to eat any dinner the night after this lunch? :)

ReplyDeleteMy husband get a tuna pizza every time we visit Germany! Tuna and onions to be exact. :P
ReplyDeleteThat's funny Jeannette! I had never heard of a tuna pizza before and I can't say I'd order one again but I'm glad your husband enjoys them!
ReplyDeleteDo you go to Germany often?
My husband's parents live in Germany. We go every other year. We've been twice in the past year (2009/2010).
ReplyDeleteI love those tuna and onion pizza's too Jeannette! Well, I don't eat them anymore but I used to make them at home all the time.
ReplyDeleteAnd look! We finally get to see a picture of Joy and her husband! What a cute couple!
Thanks Lee! You're sweet! Jackson always takes a good picture. He's a good photographer too.
